Refusal to acknowledge FOI on pollution.
Today we complained to the ICO that NYCC have failed in their duty to comply to data protection laws.
On {date} we asked questions regarding the result recieved from NYCC after a complaint to the ICO was upheld regarding results of water testing from the local caravan park and golf club. Once we recieved the results from 2009, it was clear that from 2014 test came back with PFAS in the water.
The Disturbing results show that tests on the tap water from both businesses were still showing signs of PFAS pollution. Coupled with the recent "secret" replacement of pipes around Bentham by Yorkshire Water, there is the scent of a cover up after the scale of anger was witnessed at the Public Meeting.
We will keep you updated on the response from the ICO and our push to have criminal charges filed against those who maybe covering up the extent of the pollution to Benthams Water Supply.

1. Is the Golf Club and Caravan Park on Mains water?(our EIR to Yorkshire Water) FOI
a. When did this happen?
2. On what evidence did the CEO of Yorkshire Water make her claim that 'tap water was safe'
3. What were the results from Angus Fires Tap Water test
a. What PFAS did they test for if any?
4. What is the contamination that caused Yorkshire Water to change the whole Water mains system in Bentham?
4a. and why did they do it quietly (without informing anyone)?
